Eric Ham, '95 CASL
Eric Ham recently launched The XII Project, a nonpartisan initiative designed to create a dialogue among thought leaders about key foreign policy and national security challenges facing the United States in the run-up to the 2012 presidential elections. The XII Projectís policy team aims to promote a substantive conversation on public policy issues that will have a real impact on Americaís future at home and abroad.
Ham brings significant foreign policy experience to the project, having served as national security adviser for Senator Bill Nelson and as director of congressional relations at the Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS). CSIS is a national security think tank in Washington, D.C., that plays a role in shaping U.S. foreign policy.
