Colleges and Departments

University of Michigan-Dearborn is home to four distinct colleges offering more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

All of our bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and professional degree programs are designed and led by highly qualified and engaged faculty. Classes are small—undergraduate lectures average 24 students and the student/faculty ratio is 15:1—so whatever your course of study, you’ll get plenty of personal attention and support.

College of Arts, Sciences, & Letters

CASL houses five departments as well as interdisciplinary college-wide programs, each offering a range of majors and minors in the liberal arts and sciences.

Our College of Business, recognized as one of the best in the country by The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report, offers nine undergraduate, six master’s and several dual-degree programs. COB has two departments: Accounting and Finance and Management Studies.

College of Education, Health, & Human Services

Formerly the School of Education, CEHHS has expanded to begin including undergraduate and graduate degrees in health and human services. Currently, we offer bachelor’s, master’s, post-professional and educational specialist degrees in a variety of concentrations.

CECS offers some of the region’s strongest engineering and computer science training programs. We offer 13 undergraduate, 20 graduate, 4 full-time PhD programs , and 2 Doctor of Engineering programs within four departments.
