Designed by and for transfer students!
The Honors Transfer Gateway is a unique learning community that unites high-achieving transfer students and provides a space to explore and develop your own creativity and leadership. If you are curious, self-motivated, and open to receiving support from fellow students, you will thrive in the Honors Transfer Gateway (HTG).
HTG members are an online community of students who are developing their own narratives and growing their professional skills in the Talent Gateway, in addition to the following:
- Participating in honors-level challenges
- Pursuing interdisciplinary collaboration
- Finding support in an Honors Transfer-specific learning community
- Engaging with a mentor
You will earn points through challenges, and these points will advance you to different designation levels. Should you reach 50,000 points, complete the required challenges, and graduate with a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher, you will receive the MTalent Honors Transfer designation on your official transcript.
How do I qualify for the Honors Transfer Gateway?
All admitted transfer students who meet the following criteria will be invited to join:
- A minimum of 30 transferable credit hours earned prior to the term of entry
- A minimum recalculated transfer GPA of 3.50
Students who qualify will be notified prior to their semester of entry at UM-Dearborn. To start participating, join the Talent Gateway, and then complete the Honors Transfer Gateway Initial Challenge.
