Cooperative Education in the College of Arts, Sciences & Letters is an academic program founded in UM-Dearborn's commitment to "excellence in teaching and learning." It promotes liberal arts learning and career/personal development through student participation in paid, professional employment. Expected learning outcomes include clarification of values, development of problem-solving and career-related skills, and enhancement of academic knowledge.

The Cooperative Education office can be reached at 313-593-5188.  We are currently located in 1038 CB, but on September 1st we'll be moving to Room Quad H on the Fairlane Center North campus on Hubbard Drive.

"Learning Outcomes:  The Educational Value of Cooperative Education" is available here in a PDF downloadable format.  The book was written by Patricia Jones (UM-Dearborn) and Cheryl Cates (University of Cincinnati) and was published by the Cooperative Education Association.
