Engineering/Computer Science Experience
and contest for high school students

The tenth annual Engineering/Computer Science Experience is scheduled on Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the Institute for Advanced Vehicle Systems building on the UM-Dearborn campus. Junior- and senior-level high school students are invited to participate in one of four contests--robotics, programming, simulation, or game design--to compete for scholarships or other prizes. The prize structure and additional details about the competitions will be announced on the site in Jaunuary 2015.

Each contest requires that students register as part of a two-person team. Registration for this event (by a teacher/counselor sponsor) will be open from January 30 to March 4, 2015.

More than 200 students competed in the 2014 event. The College of Engineering and Computer Science would like to acknowledge the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, The Woodbridge Group, and Ford Motor Company for their sponsorship of the 2014 Engineering/Computer Science Experience. Inquiries regarding the Engineering/Computer Science Experience should be directed to kathrynt@umich.edu.
