When transferring from a university, up to 75 of your most applicable credits will transfer with you. Students transferring from another U-M campus may bring 90 credits. We recommend utilizing our Course Transfer System to review many courses that have already been evaluated for transferability. If you are transitioning from a public university in Michigan, you can find a concise list of business courses that have been pre-approved for transfer.
Students may petition to receive credit for courses that have not been pre-approved. Courses from AACSB International-institutions are often more likely to transfer than courses from a school that does not share this accreditation. To find out if your current university belongs to AACSB International, you can check their website. However, all students have the right to petition for credit by supplying a syllabus from the course in question. The advisors in the College of Business can assist you in this process.
