International Summer Program in Management
Study business at the University of Padua, where Copernicus and Galileo lectured. Celebrate the “spirited” life by driving a Vespa scooter down a cobblestone street among 16th-century buildings. Work with European students who want to learn about you as much as you want to learn about them. This is a Study Abroad European Travel experience like no other; it’s the International Summer Program in Management (ISPM).
The program will begin by preparing you to travel with a group of your classmates from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. You’ll take three to four 1-hour classes between February and May to get you ready for the experience. Then, you will leave the States in time to be in Padua on May 4, 2016 for orientation. Classes begin the next day and end June 18th. For the 6 weeks of your stay in Italy, you will room with your UM-Dearborn classmates and take classes 3-days per week with both US and European students. The rest of the time… well, it’s up to you.
Applying is simple. Just complete the program application and email it to ISPM-Italy@umich.edu. After you apply and are accepted, you may register for just one, or both of the courses offered this year at UM-Dearborn. Students from other universities may apply as guest students by submitting a Guest Application along with an unofficial transcript to the University of Michigan- Dearborn Registrar’s Office when applying. and will be notified upon acceptance.
