UM-Dearborn to host informational events for students at Henry Ford Community College and Schoolcraft College who are interested in transferring to campus

DEARBORN / March 3, 2008---The Office of Admissions and Orientation at the University of Michigan-Dearborn will host two informational events this month for students at Henry Ford Community College and Schoolcraft College who are interested in transferring to UM-Dearborn.
The first event, “Transfer Info Night,” will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10 in Room 200 of the McDowell Center on the campus of Schoolcraft College, 18600 Haggerty Rd.
Participants will learn about UM-Dearborn’s degree programs, transfer scholarships, the transfer admissions process and UM-Dearborn campus life.

Students studying education at Henry Ford Community College can attend a UM-Dearborn Education Open House from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 in Room 150 of HFCC’s Health Careers Education Center, 5101 Evergreen Rd.
Participants will learn about UM-Dearborn’s programs in education along with articulation agreements between the two colleges. UM-Dearborn representatives will make a presentation about the transfer process from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and discuss UM-Dearborn’s Teacher Education programs from 3:10 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.
