Transfer students admitted during the Summer term have the opportunity to receive scholarships at UM-Dearborn

DEARBORN / May 25, 2007---The University of Michigan-Dearborn is offering transfer students admitted during the Summer term the opportunity to receive “Community College Transfer Scholarships” for the Fall and Winter semesters.
Community College Transfer Scholarships are $3,000 non-renewable stipends awarded to students who are graduating from a local community college with an associate’s degree, or who have earned 50 credits at a community college. Transfer students are automatically considered for this scholarship at the time of admission.
The award is distributed during the first Fall and Winter semesters of enrollment at $1,500 per semester.
