Parents can learn about the Child Development Center's kindergarten programs during open house

DEARBORN / May 14, 2007---The University of Michigan-Dearbornís Early Learning and Child Development Center will host a kindergarten open house from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 beginning in Room 104 of the Academic Support Center Building, reached via the campus's Fair Lane Drive west of Evergreen Road.

The open house is an opportunity for parents to learn about the center's kindergarten full-day and half-day programs. The UM-Dearborn kindergarten is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Kindergarten applications will be accepted for children who will be 5 years old by Dec. 1, 2007. The CDC kindergarten offers developmentally appropriate learning in a stimulating environment with an excellent teacher/child ratio.
