Livonia resident Donald L. Knapp receives alumni service award from UM-Dearborn

DEARBORN / July 27, 2007---Donald L. Knapp, an attorney at Fausone Bohn LLP in Northville who specializes in commercial litigation and corporate law, received the Alumni Service Award from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in a ceremony this spring.
Knapp earned his bachelorís degree at UM-Dearborn in 1993 and a law degree at the Detroit College of Law in association with Michigan State University in 1996.
Knapp is past chair of the Alumni Society Board of Governors. During his term, the first Alumni Legacy Scholarship was awarded and the board launched what has become a very successful annual golf outing.
In 2001, Knapp was elected to the Livonia City Council and was re-elected to a second term in 2005. In addition, Knapp is a member of the Livonia Kiwanis, Livonia Jaycees, Monaghan Knights of Columbus and the Livonia Chamber of Commerce.
Knapp is a resident of Livonia.
