Build on your classroom learning with real-world, on-the-job experience. Internships and co-op opportunities enable our students to explore career paths, gain practical skills and expand their networks, while building their resumes. We’ll connect you to opportunities for personal and professional growth and real-world learning at leading companies, government agencies, schools, health care providers, civic institutions, labs, media outlets, nonprofit organizations and more.

College Co-op and Internship Programs

We partner with companies, agencies, institutions and nonprofits across southeast Michigan and beyond to provide students with more than 700 co-op and internship opportunities. Our students have held internship or co-op positions at corporations close to home like Ford Motor Company, Ernst & Young, DTE Energy, the Detroit Free Press and the Michigan Governor’s Office, and across the U.S. and the world, at organizations including NASA, the Wolf Education and Research Center in Idaho (yes, they study wolves!) and Canadian Parliament.

Each of our colleges has specialized information on co-op and internship opportunities related to their programs. Many CEHHS students have field placement opportunities in conjunction with their selected program of study.
