The office supports the efforts of the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Michigan-Dearborn in seeking, securing, and carrying out sponsored programs and its authority to do so is derived from the Provost and Chancellor of UM-Dearborn and the policies and procedures of the University of Michigan.
