Resources for Employees

Faculty and staff who need to take leave as required by their military service obligations or are returning from a leave due to military service who have questions or concerns, are encouraged to contact Human Resources at 313-593-5190 or [email protected].  Veterans who are persons with disabilities who have questions about reasonable accommodations should also contact Human Resources.

Resources For Students

Support for students who are veterans is available from Veteran Services in Room 2113 of the James C. Renick University Center.  Veterans are encouraged to stop by or call the office at 313-436-9196 or [email protected].  The office is led and staffed with military veterans who are there to support student veterans to navigate any issues they may encounter. In addition, the staff is trained to disseminate information concerning the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefit programs.
