The Vagina Monologues

The Vagina Monologues returns to the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, 2015 in 1500 Social Sciences Building (SSB). Showtimes are 6:30 pm.  Doors open at 6 pm.
The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women’s sexuality and strength. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For over a decade, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public.

Advance tickets are available in the Women's Resource Center during normal business hours and are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for non-students. Cash only.  Price increases at the door.

All proceeds will benefit local organizations working to end violence against girls and women. This years beneficiaries are Alternatives for Girls and Wayne County SAFE. Sponsors include the Women's Resource Center, SOAR Program, InCLUDE, and Women in Learning and Leadership.
