Domenico Grasso became UM-Dearborn's sixth chancellor on August 1, 2018. This page highlights his first year on campus.

July 19,2019: Chancellor Grasso and Vice Chancellor Ulbrich attend the city of Dearborn's 90 birthday celebration at Wagner Place.

June 25, 2019: Chancellor Grasso is a speaker at the U-M Club of Greater Detroit event, at Tech Town Detroit, along with U-M Ann Arbor Deans Moje and Gillimore.

May 27, 2019: Chancellor Grasso participates in the City of Dearborn Memorial Day Parade with the Student Veterans Association.

April 25, 2019: Chancellor Grasso served as the key note speaker at the 8th Annual Black Celebratory. The event recognizes achievements of UM-Dearborn's African American graduates.

March 21, 2019: Regent Acker visits campus to learn more about the impact of UM-Dearborn.

February 28, 2019: Chancellor Grasso testifies before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Higher Education and Community Colleges in Lansing. He shared a profile of our student body and the impact of UM-Dearborn.

January 31, 2019: The chancellor meets with alums Dick and Linda Dyer at Simon Pearce in Quechee, Vermont.
