During the strategic planning process the campus community was encouraged to read thought-provoking books, read interesting and relevant articles, listen to engaging talks and participate in interactive discussions with national leaders from academia. These resources helped to provide a new mindset for the work ahead and helped usher in new and bold ideas for the campus.
Thought Leader Series
The university invited national thought leaders to campus that are doing great things across the country. The entire campus community was invited to listen to unique and different approaches to higher education and engage with speakers regarding ideas that could work at UM-Dearborn.
Key Resources
Throughout the strategic planning process, resources will be shared with campus — news and journal articles, TEDX talks, books, webinars, etc. — aimed at sharing key insights and trends that relate to higher education from leaders in their fields.
