Mentor Collective

The Wolverine Mentor Collective (Wolverine MC) is an exciting new mentoring program for first year, second year, and transfer undergraduate students.  Students are matched with mentors who are there to offer guidance as students acclimate to life in college.  Mentors will assist mentees in navigating the many adjustments that students often face when attending college for the first time.

International Student Mentorship Program
OIA

The International Student Mentorship Program pairs new UM-Dearborn international students with current students, staff, and faculty that serve as International Ambassadors and Mentors. International Ambassadors connect with newly admitted international students ahead of their arrival. Ambassadors provide an initial, tangible connection to campus for new international students, answering questions and providing advice via email, phone, and social media.

We all struggle with the daily challenges of life. For some, receiving peer support can be a useful tool for coping with the stressors associated with being a college student. Support Groups can be a valuable tool for self discovery, gaining life skills, and connecting with peers. Visit Mental Health and Wellness Peer Mentors to learn more.

PALS

Peer Advising Learning & Success (PALS) wants to provide you the opportunity to talk with other students about your academic success.  Through PALS, you will set goals and create a plan to achieve them--all while gaining relatable perspectives about studying, managing your time, and navigating your college experience.  Contact PALS to set up a peer-to-peer conversation or visit the PALS website for more information and helpful resources.
