Transfer Students

Transfer to UM-Dearborn and graduate with the prestige of a Michigan degree.

More than half of incoming UM-Dearborn students are transfer students just like you. There are a number of factors that can prompt a student to seek out a new college or university. Whether seeking academic excellence at a more affordable rate, pursuing an institution that offers flexible class scheduling, or simply aiming to find a school that’s closer to home. You may even be seeking a change of pace and prefer a university that offers smaller class sizes. Each year, we help students continue their education no matter the circumstance.

Virtual Transfer Admitted Student Financial Aid Session

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Office of Financial hosted a joint virtual information session on June 22, 2023. It was an opportunity for transfer admitted students to learn more about UM-Dearborn, including discussing costs, aid, and affordability. Students and families had the opportunity to ask questions related to understanding their financial aid award. In addition, we discussed the next steps to ensure students are prepared for their Fall 2023 semester start. If you missed the event and are interested in learning more, please view the session below.
