Parents and families play a vital role in a student's life as they transition to college.
Important Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: With the continually shifting situation regarding the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) public health emergency, the University is committed to protecting your health and safety by minimizing potential spread of the disease. Because of this precaution, the University will offer parent orientation in a virtual, online format in support of the statewide "social distancing" strategy.
At Virtual Parent Orientation, you'll get answers to questions you have about UM-Dearborn and help preparing for the adjustments, challenges, and new demands you and your student will face in the coming years. We strongly encourage all parents of new incoming freshmen to attend.
Virtual Parent Orientation date:
- Tuesday, July 21 | 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Technology Requirements - Participating in online orientation will require a computer or tablet with internet capabilities. If you don’t have access to these technology resources, let us know by emailing us at email@example.com so we can make alternative arrangements for you.
Please contact the Orientation staff by email with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
