Expect respect.

At the University of Michigan-Dearborn, you'll hear us say "expect respect" a lot, because we believe deeply in the value of respect for others. It's who we are, and it's a part of everything we do. Every person in the UM-Dearborn family - whether student, faculty, or staff - has an important role to play in creating and maintaining an environment that respects all people and is free of sexual assault.

Recently, the State of Michigan established new legislation which mandates universities to require in person sexual assault prevention training for all new students or risk the loss of millions of dollars of state funding that directly impacts the cost of tuition.
