Financial Aid Appointments now available Monday through Friday!

We are excited to announce that Financial Aid Fridays have gone virtual, and appointments are now available Monday through Friday!

Admitted students and their families are invited to meet with a Financial Aid Counselor to review the financial aid process, understand your financial aid awards, accept offers, and review payment options. Students must complete the FAFSA before scheduling an appointment (see FAFSA information below).

Your appointment includes:

  • A personalized one-on-one session
  • An overview of the financial aid process and your financial aid award
  • An overview of the processes after you register

When you schedule your appointment, indicate your preferred method and your availability.

File the FAFSA online before scheduling your appointment!

Filing the FAFSA prior to your appointment is required. File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2020-2021 academic year at studentaid.gov (UM-Dearborn's school code is: 002326).

Important Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:

With the continually shifting situation regarding the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) public health emergency, the University is committed to protecting your health and safety by minimizing potential spread of the disease. Because of this precaution, the University is canceling events in support of the statewide "social distancing" strategy. We are working to provide students with virtual opportunities to connect with our vibrant campus community.

We encourage you to direct any immediate inquiries to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships email account which is actively monitored: umd-ask-ofa@umich.edu.
