Your organization will have the opportunity to provide career and employment information to students seeking co-op/internship opportunities, part-time or summer professional positions, as well as full-time professional employment for graduating students and alumni.

The Office of Career Services hosts multiple Career Fairs each year:

- Federal and Nonprofit Career Fair
- Teacher Career Fair
Make a payment for the Career Fair (you must register for the career fair before paying).
Special Outreach Events
If you are an employer seeking to enhance your company's presence on campus please review the following outreach programs:
Employer Days: Develop a series of events during the course of an extended event dedicated to your organization. Contact Mai Qazzaz for more information.
Career Planning Class: Taught by a Career Services counselor, enrolled students learn about career planning, employment prep and job search. Contact Britta Roan for additional details.
National Society of Leadership & Success: Students complete Orientation, Leadership Training, Success Networking Teams, and attend speaker broadcasts. After the program year students are inducted into the Society. Contact Jennifer Macleod, Chapter Advisor for more information.

Interview candidates in our office's convenient interview rooms. You can choose to select all or part of your interview schedule.
To set up an On-Campus Interview:
- Contact Mai Qazzaz (313-593-5020)
- Select a date: a full day of interviewing involves meeting with 12 candidates scheduled in 30 minute time slots, as well as two 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon, and one hour for lunch.
- Career Services will need:
- Position title
- Graduation Date range
- GPA requirements
- Work authorization
- Job description to be emailed or faxed ASAP
You will be guided through the process and kept informed as to the status of your schedule.
Information Sessions and Presentations
Information Sessions can be arranged for 1-2 hours, giving employers have the opportunity to present information to students on their company in various formats and settings.
Present information on your organization in seminars or meetings with student organizations.
Discuss career options within your industry in classes or on speaker panels.
Reserve a promotional table to explain your company and its job openings to students in a high-traffic area on campus.
Contact Career Services to set up a session or reserve a promotional table.
Our office can arrange for a targeted cohort of students to visit your location and learn more about opportunities, office culture, and how to stand out as a candidate.
