The Archaeology Lab is the site of research programs, archaeological collections, and teaching.

The focus is on the study of human beings through material culture throughout the historic period (about the last 500 years), particularly in the Caribbean and, through new projects currently in the planning stages, in Michigan.  Students are using the lab as part of independent study projects, and there are plans for field and lab classes, as well as open houses for the school and members of the community.
