CIS faculty received an NSF grant

Dr. Marouane Kessentini, Associate Professor of Computer and Information Science, received a grant from NSF for his research in software refactoring.

Dr. Marouane Kessentini, Associate Professor of Computer and Information Science, received a grant from NSF to support one of his Ph.D. students for a project entitled "Intelligent Software Refactoring" in amount of $54,917 from 8/1/2019 to 7/31/2020. The student will validate the first release of a comprehensive framework developed by Dr. Kenssentini's research group that improves the abilities to automate and simplify software refactoring for the broader science, engineering and education communities on large scale industry projects in collaboration with industrial colleagues at SEMA.
