CIS student received UPE Executive Council Award
Natasha Young, a BS-CIA major student in the CIS Department, received a UPE Executive Council Award from the UPE International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines.
The Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines announced the recipients of 2019 Scholarship Awards in its September 2019 News Brief. Natasha Young, a BS-CIA major student in the CIS Department, is one of the four winners worldwide for a competitive UPE Executive Council Award ($2,500), based on her contributions to the UPE Chapter at UM-Dearborn and related student activities as well as her long-time plan in the profession. Natasha is the current President of the UPE Chapter at UM-Dearborn and a former Vice President of the ACM Chapter at UM-Dearborn. Her career goal is to become a federal cybercrime investigator.
