MSE in Information Systems & Technology
This 30 credit hour degree program is for engineers, computer scientists, business people, and other professionals who have responsibility for using, designing, improving, installing, managing, and evaluating integrated enterprise-wide information systems. The program emphasizes business processes and SAP R/3 ERP software to integrate the functional areas, such as manufacturing, distribution, sales, finance, etc. Specialization's are available in the areas of Manufacturing Information Systems and Service Information Systems. Ph.D. in Information Systems Engineering
The Ph.D. in Information Systems Engineering, a joint interdisciplinary degree between the CIS, ECE, and IMSE departments, is designed to meet the need of engineers who want to be the technology leaders of the future. It is a 50 credit hour postgraduate program and can be pursued either on a full-time or a part-time basis. The classes are held in the evenings for the convenience of working engineers. The areas of specialization available in the program include information management and knowledge engineering, computer networks and computer architecture, intelligent systems and human/computer interaction, graphics and visualization, supply chain informatics, web services and security.
