BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance

Computer security and privacy are among society’s most urgent emerging issues, and your Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance will prepare you to take on a broad range of computer security and criminal justice challenges.

Choose the Cybersecurity and Privacy Concentration and you’ll develop fluency in fundamental disciplines like confidentiality, integrity, access control, security architecture and systems, and attack-defense strategies.

If you’re interested in criminal justice, opt for the Digital Forensics Concentration. Here, you’ll gain expertise in tools and techniques to recover, secure and analyze digital evidence that could be used in a court of law.

• Our graduates will be qualified for employment in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance related fields or other career paths, including industrial, academic,
  governmental, and non-governmental organizations, or will be successful graduate students in a program preparing them for such employment.
• Our graduates will be qualified to lead and participate in culturally diverse and inclusive teams, becoming global and ethical collaborators.
• Our graduates will be qualified to participate in continuing professional development through, for example, obtaining continuing education credits, professional registration or certifications, or post-graduate study credits or degrees.
