The Henry Ford is hosting the NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshop this summer. This is a week-long professional development opportunity for educators that will be offered twice this July. The workshop is an immersive learning opportunity that exposes educators to the broad themes and diverse impacts of the American Industrial Revolution through scholar lectures, historic sites and interactives, and lesson plan development.
The Henry Ford is looking for an Education Assistant who actively support the team to prepare for and implement the workshop. Work will include preparing and organizing materials for the workshop, managing hospitality for teachers and staff during the workshop, and re-organizing following the workshop. The Education Assistant is a part-time limited position that would begin in late June and conclude after the workshop. The Assistant will be paid a taxable stipend.

Speak Learn Succeed, an ESL company in western Wayne County and eastern Washtenaw County, is currently looking for two part-time tutors that are able to teach children and adults in a one-on-one setting in the student's home or office.
