Are you looking for employment as a professional educator?
Many school districts and educational organizations are seeking to hire our UM-Dearborn CEHHS graduates. Recent job openings are posted below.
Soar Detroit is looking to employ part-time Tutoring Coordinators who would assess students, prepare lessons, manage volunteers and oversee tutoring sessions. Because of the ongoing pandemic, tutoring is currently offered remotely only. Some in-person tutoring will resume at some point in 2022.
Soar Detroit is a reading tutoring program serving elementary school students in Detroit. Volunteers, most of whom have no professional educational experience, work one-on-one with students twice-weekly using lessons customized to each student’s needs.
There are also options for volunteering as reading mentors. It is a way to gain practical experience while also serving the community. For more information on that, please visit the mentor page.
