2017 CEHHS Retreat

The College of Education, Health, and Human Services' team enjoyed a day of fun and fellowship during its annual retreat at The Henry hotel in Dearborn.

DEARBORN, MI. - On August 9th, 2017 The College of Education, Health, and Human Services' team had a day of fun and team building during its annual CEHHS Retreat. This year, team members gathered at The Henry Hotel to spend time discussing goals for the upcoming Fall 2017 semester while participating in artistic activities.

Interim Dean Ann Lampkin-Williams opened the session by presenting her vision and goals for the College. She emphasized the importance of team work and communication in order to move the College forward. She also introduced Renee Mainor as the HR representative for CEHHS. Ms Mainor is a senior human resources consultant at UM-Dearborn.

CEHHS team members also enjoyed a stained-glass class during the morning with Karen Birdwell, owner of "All That Glass" and a cookie decoration class during the afternoon with Michele Doty, owner of "The Sweet Mermaid Cupcake and Cookie Company".

The retreat was a great success and CEHHS team members are eager for students to return for the 2017 Fall semester.
