26 CEHHS students received the Honor Scholar Award during UM-Dearborn's annual ceremony
UM-Dearborn honored twenty-six CEHHS students during the 37th annual Honor Scholars and Faculty Awards ceremony.
University of Michigan-Dearborn held its 37th annual Honor Scholars and Faculty Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 to celebrate more than 100 students and seven faculty members.
Twenty-six students from the College of Education, Health, and Human Services (CEHHS) received the Honor Scholars award in recognition to their academic excellence.
The Honor Scholar Award is presented each year to one active undergraduate student per degree program with at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and a minimum of 90 credit hours earned by the end of Fall term; and to one graduate student per degree program with at least a 3.7 cumulative GPA and a minimum of three-quarters (¾) of their program completed by the end of Fall term.
The students, selected by the respective discipline faculty, also meet other criteria established by department, school or college including contributions to the discipline through research and service activities such as tutoring, mentoring and leadership in discipline based student organizations.
