The K-12 Learning Disabilities Endorsement prepares students to teach students with learning disabilities in a variety of special education and general education settings.

The program is based on a behavior-analytic philosophy and addresses areas such as assessment, identification, collaboration, special education law and transition.

Endorsement Availability

A Learning Disabilities endorsement is available through the following College of Education, Health, and Human Services programs. Visit these program pages for degree requirementscourse requirements and to apply.

  • M.Ed. in Special Education - Earn the Learning Disabilities endorsement with a Master of Education in Special Education degree.
  • Post-Degree Program - Earn the Learning Disabilities endorsement without a master's degree (must already hold a Master of Education in Special Education degree).
