The Michigan Secretary of State will bring it's mobile office to UM-Dearborn on Monday, September 15, 2014! From the mobile office you can conduct all regular Secretary of State business. Tired of the long lines at the Secretary of State office? No need to go there - simply bring your documents and information to campus on the 15th of September and stop by the mobile office which will be set up behind the University Center!

This year's program will be held on Thursday, September 11, at 12:30 pm in Kochoff Hall C, University Center. Tuesday Sept. 23, 2014 is National Voter Registration Day. To celebrate, UM Dearborn is hosting Rich Robinson from the Michigan Campaign Finance Network to speak on financing of this year's campaigns. See mcfu.org for more info. The League of Women Voters will also provide information on ballot initiatives. The event will be held in Kochoff Hall C, 7:00 to 8:30pm. Everyone is welcome. Please encourage students to attend. Back this by popular demand, SOUP Dearborn will be happening on Thursday, October 2 at 12:00 pm in Kochoff Hall A, UC. This SOUP lunch will include project presentations by students around voter engagement! Attendees at SOUP Dearborn will vote on their favorite project presentation and that project will receive grant funding from the generous donations of attendees for their meals!

Join us for a screening of the critcally acclaimed film, Detroit Unleaded. This film was directed by Dearborn native Rola Nashef who will visit campus to talk about her film. As one of only few Arab-American female directors, Ms. Nashef is receiving critical acclaim for her work and is pleased to be able to come to her hometown of Dearborn, MI to share the film with UM-Dearborn.
