CrashPass

Most people can’t assess the cost of vehicle damage and end up being ripped off. My idea is a website where users can upload pictures as well as audio files of their vehicle damage and a trained AI agent determines the cost of repairs. Pictures are also sent to nearby auto repair shops and free quotes are sent to your email within 24 hours.

Why will your idea be successful? (max 300 characters)

Its yearly low five dollar cost is attractive. On numerous occasions professors asked for an easier way to write letters of recommendation for students. Students tend to either be scared for asking for a letter or are to lazy to keep track of them, especially when applying for jobs and internships.

As a result, we will receive a subset for positive and negative reviews which would then be used to provide recommendations to businesses.

Who are your biggest competitors (max 300 characters)?

Our biggest competitors are Twitter, Hootsuite and Revinate. Each of these applications use sentiment analysis to help customers understand what the sentiment around their brand is. However, they don’t have a dashboard to identify unique pain points of customers and don’t provide specific recommendation.

What makes your idea different (max 300 characters)?

360Review is different and more valuable than existing solutions because it focuses on prescriptive analytics rather than descriptive. Through our dashboard and reviews aggregation, businesses would be able to provide better services and increased satisfaction to customers.

Culture Box

Culture Box, is an opportunity for consumers to reconnect with the food from their own cultural background. Each month, you choose 5 key products from an online database, each representing a country of origin of your choice. You can choose between trial or full sized items. This allows the consumer a chance to try new food items that are not accessible to them at their current location.

Who are your biggest competitors (max 300 characters)?

My biggest competitors are: Blue Apron, Hello Chef, Home Chef, and Thrive Market.

What makes your idea different (max 300 characters)?

My idea is different because it focuses on "cultural foods," not necessarily fresh dinner options. My concept integrates Kosher and Halal items into its choice menu. This opens a whole new door considering that a large majority of Americans adhere to some form of religious dietary restriction.

Why will your idea be successful (max 300 characters)?

I believe that there is a lost opportunity to appeal to customers, who immigrate to America, and miss the foods of their homeland. Being able to provide a means to obtain those items, offers a sense of identity to families and individuals around the world. Culture shouldn't be a luxury but a right.

Implementing nutritional workers located in grocery stores that chop and slice fresh cut fruits and vegetables for shoppers who meal prep and those who have limited mobility. Both groups, enjoy having fresh cut fruits and vegetables in their meals and having the option of nutritional workers located in grocery stores can increase health and prosperity and decrease time spent in home kitchens.

Who are your biggest competitors (max 300 characters)?

My biggest competitors are grocery stores that provide already pre-cut and sealed fruits and vegetables for shoppers on the go. These are typical grocery stores which include Walmart, Kroger, Eastborn Fruit Market, to name a few.

What makes your idea different (max 300 characters)?

My idea is different because there seems to be a lack of nutritional employees hired within grocery stores. These employees provide fresh cut vegetables/fruits to shoppers while having a degree in the knowledge of nutrition. These employees will hold the job description as Nutri-Workers.

Why will your idea be successful (max 300 characters)?

I believe my idea will be successful because having Nutri-workers hired in grocery stores can increase knowledge in healthy food habits but also help those with disabilities who can't cut their own fruits or vegetables. Competitors provide pre-cut fruits/vegetables which are not fresh to shoppers.

Fruity-Venture

Who are your biggest competitors (max 300 characters)?

The biggest competitors are other mobile game developers. In particular, education game developers like PBS Kids whom already tailor to making games for children.

My game's design philosophy is trying to instill healthy eating habits through fun and re-playable RPG experience that’s similar to Pokémon. Other groups like PBS Kids only offer short and bland games that are not crafted with the level of detail needed to keep kids coming back to play.

Why will your idea be successful (max 300 characters)?

It will be successful because it will be made with love and care the game and children deserve. They will collect, battle, and fuse their defenders to do battle in single player or against their friends. All the while making them curious to try that cool cherry knight that won their last victory.

My idea will be successful due to solving a real campus issue students and staff deal with throughout the week. I would start off the idea at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus, and then campuses across the nation

My idea is useful to all people. It is not restricted to anything or anyone but the imagination itself. People no longer have to walk around with heavy backpacks and purses that strain their back and can carry more stuff with them if they want to.
