The 2019 UM-Dearborn Business Idea Pitch Competition was a success!

On March 27th, 2019, 10 student groups pitched their new business ideas related to healthy food and mobility to a panel of judges. In 2019, the judges recognized 2 teams with scholarship support. The 2 teams recognized by the judges were Sip Juice Bar and StudentDriver. Winter 2018

On March 28th, 2018, 11 student groups pitched their new business ideas related to healthy food and mobility to a panel of judges. In 2018, the judges recognized 4 teams with scholarship support. The winning ideas were Happy Tummy, 360-Review, Mealbox, and Idle. Winter 2017

On April 12, 2017, 11 student groups pitched their business ideas on healthy eating and mobility. A panel of judges from both industries scored the pitches and recognized the top ideas with scholarship support. The three teams that were recognized by the judges were:  DeHyde-It, Smoothie Guys, and HealthyBib. 

Winter 2016

On April 12, 2016, 10 student groups pitched their business ideas on healthy eating and mobility. A panel of judges from both industries scored the pitches and recognized the top ideas with scholarship support. The three teams that were recognized by the judges were:  Med Alert, Desecado, and UM-Farmacy. 

Winter 2015

On April 2, 2015 - 15 students proposed ideas about educating communities on canned food nutrition, improving local transportation, teaching college students healthy eating lifestyle, and much more. Three ideas, Cann-Ed Health Initiative, On Time Every Time, and Chance 2 Change were selected as the Design Change Winter 2015 finalists.
