Graduate Sales Management and Personal Selling Certificate

***Available starting in Fall 2023***

In our market-driven society, nearly everyone is in sales, even if it’s not in your job title.
The Sales Management and Personal Selling Certificate will help you develop effective communication skills, gauge customer needs, and build strong business relationships, regardless of your career.

We have partnered with Sandler, a globally-recognized professional development firm that works with clients such as Google, the Girl Scouts, Citibank, and Microsoft. The certificate offers what few colleges of business do:  specific courses that dive deep into the mindset, actions, and techniques of sales.

The certificate program is available on campus and in a hybrid online format. You can earn the certificate alongside any other graduate degree at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Curriculum

The Graduate Sales Management and Personal Selling certificate requires 4 courses or 12 credit hours. The courses are sequential and must be completed one at a time.

Admission and Enrollment

The Graduate Sales Management and Personal Selling Certificate is open to all graduate students who are currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Students must declare their intent to pursue the certificate by submitting the Declaration of Certificate to their academic unit's advising office.

You can complete the certificate in the evenings on campus, and two of the required courses are also available online.
