American Marketing Association Offers Support to Local Businesses
Each semester the American Marketing Association selects one local company and offers them free marketing consultation.
Last semester the American Marketing Association worked with the New Mandarin Garden in Farmington Hills to make recommendations for their upcoming website refresh and social media accounts. The owner, Jerry Che currently employs an agency in California to run the restaurant's social media, was interested to see what recommendations the students had for improving his web presence.
Students presented their findings on April 3, including ways to streamline and give a more professional appearance to the website and social media pages. In addition, they made recommendations to raise awareness of the restaurant's bar, shared ideas on how to engage his current followers on social media and suggested ways increase sales during the slower days of the week.
In past semesters, the American Marketing Association has worked with companies such as Breakfast of Champs and Cheat Treats in Dearborn. Companies interested in working with this student organization can reach out to them directly for more information.
