Beta Alpha Psi Recognized during Midwest Regional Meeting
COB’s Beta Alpha Psi earns second place in "Branches" category during the best practices competition in Cincinnati.
March 29-30 members of the University of Michigan-Dearborn's chapter of Beta Alpha Psi traveled to the Midwest Regional Meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they presented on chapter operations. This included their successful execution of the spring and fall "meet the firms" events, which were designed to help freshmen and sophomores prepare for leadership position, as well as ways they collaborate with other organizations on campus and how they award their alumni scholarship.
In addition, four club members presented during a separate "Best Practices" competition. They placed second in the “Branches” category for the chapter's use of technology and innovation to enhance member engagement. The team consisted of Maryann Hurtado, Ayah Massiri, Klea Myftari and Dominic Terhaar.
