End of Semester COVID Reminders

December 15, 2021

We send this communication as the final COVID reminder of the semester.

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

We send this communication as the final COVID reminder of the semester.

We need to continue to remain vigilant, stay safe, and work together so we all return healthy after the winter break. Please find a few reminders to help you prepare for the break and return to campus in January.

  • Vaccination, face-covering, and daily health screening policies will remain in place for the winter 2022 semester; this includes weekly testing for those with approved exemptions.
  • All faculty, staff, and students must be compliant with the vaccination policy by January 3, 2022.
  • The campus testing clinic closes today at 6:30pm for the semester. It will reopen, on the first day of classes, Monday, January 10, 2022. Testing will be available from 7:30am-6:30pm, through Thursday, January 13.
  • Beginning the week of January 17, the clinic will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30am-6:30pm, through April 27.

If you are traveling, be aware of testing and vaccine requirements in the region you are traveling. The White House has revoked some measures that restricted travel from certain areas and implemented vaccination requirements and proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The U-M Campus Blueprint Site has timely and important information.

The COVID website will be continuously updated in advance of the Winter 2022 semester.

We wish you a relaxing break and best wishes for a healthy and happy holiday season.
