Blood Drive: University of Michigan-Dearborn’s Women in Learning and Leadership (WILL) Program in partnership with the American Red Cross

Thursday, April 8, 2021
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Medina Activity Center, Canton
(map)

The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. All of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life-saving blood. In addition to that, the American Red Cross is testing whole blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies that can be used to help coronavirus patients.

The American Red Cross and WILL are counting on you to help us reach our goal of 500 blood donations as a commitment to helping others during this pandemic.

We are holding two different blood drives:

  • Canton at the Medina Activity Center (1905 S Haggerty Rd) on Thursday April 8, 2021 from 9:00am – 3:00pm (sponsor code: mac)
  • Dearborn at 500 Town Center (Fairlane Mall parking lot) on Thursday April 22, 2021 from 9:00am – 3:00pm (sponsor code: ford13)

To Donate:

1. Call 866-236-3276 to check if you are eligible to donate blood before scheduling an appointment.

2. To schedule an appointment please log onto RedCrossBlood.org (use sponsor code) or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767)
