Individual instruction inside the art gallery on how to create mini-comics by professional comic book artist Matt Feazell for 6th grade through college level students.

Matt Feazell is a freelance cartoonist and graphic artist living and working in Hamtramck, Michigan. He's worked for newspapers and ad agencies turning out catalogs, magazines and weekly newspapers. His comics and spot illustrations have appeared in Disney Adventures and Nickleodeon Magazine and his regular weekly series, "The Amazing Cynicalman" appeared in the Hamtramck Review and Flint Comix & Entertainment as well as at cynicalman.com. Along with writer Jim Mackey, Feazell is the winner of the 2010 Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo SPACE Prize

The workshop is in part with the Zap! Pow! Bam!: The Art of the Comic Book Cover on view from January 18 to April 7, 2018.  Gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
