The new Stamelos Gallery Center was made possible by a gift from longtime supporters of UM-Dearborn’s arts community, Electra and William Stamelos. This new climate-controlled space will allow for the presentation of a wider variety of exhibitions and programming to new audiences, better preservation of objects, enriched partnership opportunities and the creation of a learning laboratory for students, faculty, staff and community members.

Bill was a devoted university donor and gallery volunteer for many years, which included acting as honorary curator for a period of time.
