Do you know metacognition means reflecting critically on your own learning experiences? Research has shown that metacognition has positive effects on student learning. Your students may be unaware of how much good metacognitive practices could have on their learning. How can you build metacognitive activities and practices into your classes so that students are prompted to perform them?

In this session two of the Hub’s instructional designers - Autumm Caines and Belen Garcia, will conduct an active and engaged session to introduce metacognition and workshop practical ways to implement it into classes. Bring your laptop to this working session in our beautiful and flexible active learning classroom.

Lunch will be provided.
