The Department of Language, Culture, and Communication, in cooperation with the HUB, is sponsoring a semester-long speaker series featuring alumni who completed the writing certificate.

Alexandra Wee, assistant digital editor at Martha Stewart Living and JASS ’13 graduate, writing certificate recipient and former campus writing consultant will share her story.

Since graduating, Alexandra has pursued an MA in Journalism and Magazine Writing from New York University. Here, she joined Spoon University as a student assistant editor and interned at Time Out New York and Woman’s Day. Afterwards, she spent a year at Sesame Street as an editorial coordinator and assistant writer, followed by a short stint at Us Weekly working on the special issues for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Rogue One. Currently, she is the assistant digital editor at Martha Stewart Living and continues to freelance for Time Out New York-Kids.
