The SURE Poster Showcase is an opportunity for students who participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience to exhibit their work and discuss their experiences as a SURE participant. Students will compete for awards by displaying a poster summarizing their project accomplishments, with a lightning talk presentation to visitors. Attendees will be asked to submit their votes for the best posters. The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program was designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain practical hands-on research experience by assisting with a faculty-led research project.  In addition to participating in the practice of research, students from all four UM-Dearborn colleges were exposed to a variety of training sessions designed to prepare them for further work, including Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training, and UM's Program for Education and Evaluation in Responsible Research and Scholarship (PEERRS.) Students also attended a Lunch & Learn session on how to prepare and present a professional poster.
