Supply Chain Case Competition Workshop

Saturday, January 23, 2021
9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

The Supply Chain Association (SCA) is kicking off the Supply Chain Case Competition preparation process with three events. Casework gives students the opportunity to develop solutions to real-world problems and the skills learned are highly sought after in the business community.

A business case workshop will be held on January 23 from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. During the workshop, students will learn how to analyze real-world business problems and develop workable solutions backed by a strong business case. While there is a strong Supply Chain Management component, solutions involve knowledge of other domains such as Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, etc.

This year, SCA would like to invite any COB or IMSE undergrad student to consider participating. If you are interested in learning more about the Supply Chain Case Competition Workshop and national competitions, please attend the Information Sessions on January 14 and 19 at 5:00 pm. Zoom ID: 98326957957 Pswd: SCA2021

Selected students will be prepared to participate in The University of Minnesota, 8th Annual National Undergraduate Supply Chain Virtual Case Competition. Workshop attendance is required to be considered for the National Case Competition Team. Students who are interested in the workshop must register and can do so below.
