More information about PBL in CASL

We have developed four themes based on faculty expertise and student interest to organize the many opportunities and choices that we offer in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters. These themes may help students to integrate coursework and co-curricular experience into a compelling story to use in resumes, cover letters, and interviews, or for graduate or professional school essays.

The themes were designed to overlap across CASL academic disciplines and departments, and across campus.
• Social & Environmental Justice
• Storytelling: Arts, Media, & Culture
• Health & Community
• People & Technology

We hope that you will take the time to explore each of the CASL themes and choose one or two of them to guide your experience with us. We believe that this will make your time with us richer and prepare you more effectively for what comes next.
