The program will consist of two keynote speakers:

  • Lina Dostilio, Vice Chancellor of Engagement and Community Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, an expert in engaged scholarship, and

Additionally, the Showcase will feature two faculty panels:

  • “Showcasing the Work of UM-Dearborn Faculty,” in which we will highlight the work of four faculty members, including Yi Su Chen and Dara Hill, whose work engages with industry, government and/or community, and
  • A “Nuts & Bolts” panel, in which three experienced faculty, Paul Draus, Fred Feng and Marcus Hill, will discuss the mechanics of engaged scholarship.
