[2] Unless the new major is unrelated to existing degree program(s) (i.e., it represents a significant departure from programs previously included in the University’s accreditation). 

[3] Unless the change/drop to the major consists of three or more courses (i.e., changing one or two courses does not require MASU review). 

[4] Unless the addition to the major consists of three or more courses (i.e., adding one or two courses does not require MASU review). 

[5] Unless the certificate program seeks Title IV eligibility and consists of 50% or more of new courses developed specifically for the requested program (i.e., the certificate is not a subset of courses from an existing certificate degree program).
