Important Information:

  • No separate application is required. Students are automatically considered for awards.
  • Classified as an out-of-state resident.
  • Final official transcripts which affect scholarship eligibility must be received by the end of the UM-Dearborn drop/add period for the student's first semester of enrollment.
  • Changes in residency may result in changes in award eligibility.
  • Enrollment in 12 credits or more is required per term. Only courses required for a student's degree program count toward enrollment hours.

The Tuition Differential Scholarship awards renewable scholarships to freshmen and transfer students. This scholarship covers the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years or the completion of a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.
